In this season opening game with a very new & young team what a game to start the season off right. My team held possession of the ball about 75% of the time & the score should have been more, but I do have to credit the Russell Co. goalkeeper for that. The game for us got very discouraging around the 5 minutes before half-time when on a fluke one of our players kicked the ball out to give RC a corner kick on which they capitalized & scored a goal. At half time we had to regroup & try to focus on getting the ball in the back of the net. RC had only 3 shots on goal the entire game; however we had about 15.
